FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Please reach us at enquiries@heavymetalsc.co.uk if you cannot find an answer to your question.
What do I need to bring?
To comply with UK law, all visitors (including participants and accompanying adults) must present original identification documents upon arrival. We cannot accept photocopies or digital images.
Accepted Documents:
UK Photocard Driving Licence: This is the easiest option as it serves as both photo ID and proof of address.
Passport: If using a passport for photo ID, you must also bring a separate, physical proof of UK address (such as a recent utility bill or bank statement).
Please Note: Failure to provide these original documents on the day will result in the forfeiture of your experience.
What is the minimum age to use the Range?
The minimum age to participate is 12 years old. However, access is at the discretion of our Range Officers, who may decline participation based on an individual’s maturity level and ability to follow safety instructions.
Supervision for Under 18s:
- Constant Supervision: All minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Adults are required to remain with the child at the firing point at all times.
- Participation: Only those who have purchased a package may participate in the experience.
- Spectators: Non-participating adults accompanying a minor are not required to pay.
Can friends or family watch me shoot?
Yes, spectators are welcome, provided they meet the following requirements:
Prior Approval: Please notify us ahead of time if you plan to bring guests so we can manage space and safety requirements.
Valid ID: All guests, including those just watching, must bring their original photo ID and proof of address.
Space Permitting: Spectator access is subject to range capacity. We cannot always guarantee space, so it is best to check with us in advance.
Can I take Photos or Videos?
Absolutely! We encourage you to capture your experience and share it with your followers on social media.
To ensure everyone’s safety and privacy, we just ask that you follow these simple guidelines:
Respect Privacy: Please avoid capturing other guests or staff members in your shots without their permission.
Safety First: Ensure your photography doesn’t interfere with range safety protocols or distract other participants.
Do I need experience?
No experience is necessary! Our Range Officers will guide you through every step of the process, ensuring your visit is both safe and enjoyable. Whether it is your first time or you are a regular, we provide all the instruction you need to feel confident.
Can I lie on the floor to shoot?
No
Do you take individual bookings or is it just group bookings?
We welcome both! Whether you’re looking for a solo session or planning a day out with a larger group, we are happy to accommodate you.
